Ruvenna & Shaun @ Sandton Shul, JHB

There is so much to say about this beautiful wedding. I have known Shaun (Ruby) for more than 10 years now and we literally toured the world together paddling and just having an awesome time. when he phoned me one day and said Neil, Ive met the most beautiful women, i knew that it wouldn’t be long before engagement rings and wedding bells were sounding. Ruby you were totally in love, i could hear it in your voice… and not surprising after meeting Ruvenna and seeing what a wonderful lady she is, inside and out she really just has this glow about her.

The Rubenstein’s have a very special place in my heart and after spending allot of time at their house during my paddling days they really grew into being like family. Cheryl & Terry, Cedric & Laurie you guys really mean allot to us and it was so awesome being such a special part of a very special family event. You guys have always been so welcoming and there has never been a time when you have been too busy to accommodate us.

We also had the oppurtunity to spend time with people we havnt had an oppurtunity to chat to in a while. To the Popes, it was fantastic chatting and just spending some time with you guys, i really hope we get to do that more often. Jared and Anthony, good seeing you guys again after 10 years….. thanks for teaching me whats at the bottom of the glass…

This was also our first Jewish wedding, and it was really amazing to experience the entire weekend with the Rubenstein’s and learn a little more about the wedding process. The wedding day itself was awesome and we must thank you Ruvenna and Ruby for allowing us to be such a huge part of your day, it really does mean so much to us that we were able to spend it with you guys, hopefully we will be in Cape Town soon to visit… If not we will have to make a plan to come andĀ support Ruby at the 2012 London Olympics…

Here are a couple pics from the day…
