Anita & Lee @ Umdlalo Lodge, Umtentweni

Anita and Lee are origanally from the South Coast but now live in the UK and decided to come back home to tie the knot with friends and family as witness. They chose the quaint setting of Umdlalo Lodge and were married under the huge tree which has its roots in the centre of the lodges well manicured garden. An overcast day provided the perfect balance of not too much sun and not too little, perfect for photos and pleasant for guests…

Have to say that when we started shooting at Lee’s i was pushing a bed or five but luckily the cool breeze made a perfect escape from the hectic humidity. All in all perfect weather for a beautiful wedding.

Our creative shoot after the ceremony took us down to quite a wicked beach where, as usuall, we had loads of fun experimenting in the sun and shade, creating some beautiful images for Anita and Lee to enjoy for years to come. I really do love doing a beach wedding shoot especially when the light and conditions were like they were. Thanks guys for putting up with me and my demands, i think it really payed off…

A special thank you to Eileen for giving me a hand on the day and a shout out to Shirley from Fluttaby Weddings and Functions who coordinated the wedding, good work!

Here are a couple images from the day…
